Free Google Search tips:

Use quotation marks in front and at the end of a name to more precisely get results.
Enter "John Smith" instead of John Smith. To narrow search to location use quotation marks around name and the plus sign and the city to search, as in this example: "John Smith" + Detroit.

If available, search using middle initials or names as in: "John A Smith" or "John Andrew Smith".

Note: the more words in your search query will help to narrow down the results provided but be sure to search again for misspellings of names, addresses and cities.

You can also limit results by using the minus sign as in: "John Andrew Smith" -Detroit. This would return results of all John Andrew Smith names other than those in Detroit.

Remember most of all, if you aren't getting the results you expect, search creatively!
